There is slight decrease in the number of cases of Covid-19 cases in Gujarat. In last 24 hours that ended at 5 pm on Saturday, as many as 1598 cases were registered which were 1607 on Friday, the figures announced by the state government states.
Further the press release by the government of Gujarat states that, compared to cases of Covid – 19 in other states of India, Gujarat has least cases registered. In Maharastra in a day as many as 6185 cases have been registered followed by Delhi, the national capital where 5428 cases were noted. In Gujarat 1523 people were discharged from the hospitals. During these hours 15 succumbed to Corona virus. Out of these 15, 10 are from Ahmedabad.Ahmedabad city registered 332 cases while 25 cases where registered in Ahmedabad rural. Surat stands second in the sequence where 228 in urban area and 56 in rural Surat were registered. Least numbers were registered in Tapi and Porbandar where 2 cases in each were noted by the local authorities.
