IELTS and TOFEL exams can be held from June 11

After almost one and half month, the hotels, restaurants and religious places are going to open from Friday, June 11 with 50 % capacity. It was decided in a core meeting led by chief minister Vijay Rupani. However, the timings for hotels and restaurants will be from 9 am till 7 pm only. In another very important decision for the foreign aspirants, the English language proficiency test IETLS and TOEFL can be held from June 11.

In a press release to media, the chief minister office said that, the take-way time limit has been extended till mid-night, 12 am which shall start from 9 am. The curfew timings will remain from 9 pm till 6 in the morning.

All beauty parlours, salons, shops, commercial units, market yards, and galas are allowed to continue their operations till 7 pm extending one hour which was 6 pm earlier. Gardens have also been allowed to be opened from 6 am till 7 pm.

Students who want to appear form exams of IETLS and TOEFL have been given certain liberty and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) has been issued for them.

This meeting was attended by deputy chief minister – Nitin Patel, Education minister – Bhupendra Chudasma, Energy minister – Saurabh Patel, Home minister for state – Pradeepsinh Jadeja, chief secretary – Anil Mukim and Principle Secretary to the chief minister – K Kailashnatham along with Pankaj Kumar- chief secretary and M K Das – additional chief secretary.
