3% increase in dearness allowance to state government employees-pensioners

Employees-Pensioners who get the benefit of 7th Pay Commission will get this benefit. This benefit will be given.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to give 3% increase in dearness allowance of Gujarat government employees on the basis of Central Government with effect from 01-08-2021.

.

It has also been decided that this additional benefit will be available only to the employees who have been given the benefit of 7th pay commission.

As per the decision of the Chief Minister, a total of 4.5 lakh people from the state government, panchayat service and other state government employees and pensioners will get this additional benefit of dearness allowance.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to pay the amount of arrears of ten months in two instalments with this 5% increase in the dearness allowance due from 01-09-2021.

.

Accordingly, the first instalment will be paid with the salary of May 2022 and the second instalment with the salary of June 2022. As a result of this increase in inflation allowance, the financial burden on the state government will increase to Rs. 1213.8 crore annually.
